Taali writes: "I wrote 'Hear You Now' alongside Josiah Kosier and Jarina DeMarco in 2018, just as the first waves of the Weinstein scandal were breaking. I remain deeply grateful to my brilliant cowriters for pushing me to both incorporate my Jewish culture into the song's harmony and my own personal trauma into its lyrics. When I met TR/ST, I knew immediately I wanted his unique and beautiful voice lent as a remixer. I love the idea that our deepest pain can become art that you wouldn't even associate with the same roots. I hope it brings some joy to your Friday."
